Random Live Music Shot#2 - Net om die geraas in te asem.
Fritz,Ef-El @ Aandklas
When I go out to take photos at a gig, I document my experience of the show, I enjoy myself, focus on the music and the photos just seem to come naturally without me going out of my way and getting in everyone elses way trying to get the shot.
In my photos I try to portray what I see on stage, not what my camera sees.
I want the viewer to feel as if he was right there where I was when I took the shot.
When I go out to take photos at a gig, I go out to enjoy myself.
Comments welcome.
Thank You.

Available Light / Grunge Photography
As much as I apreciate the quality and creative freedom you can get from a proper studio and lighting rig for your camera, I think a good photographer should always be able to get a good shot of any subject without having to use a flash bigger than your average soft box bouncing it off 16 different reflectors and basicly setting up a mini studio where ever you take that 50 Grand camera rig of yours. Its all about reading the light correctly.
Thank You.
Thank You.

Random Live Music shot #1 :
A shot I took of Andre from the Pretty Blue Guns at Klein Libertas Teater earlier this year.
I chose this shot for the first of a series of Random Live Music photos I took in the past year, because it portrays the dynamic subject in very minimalist "enviroment" , not forcing anything in to the viewers eye, but still making an impact and it shows what my work around Live music photography is all about...
Thank You
